If you trying to change your membership tier -- switching between bronze, silver or gold, or changing your billing cycle between monthly and yearly -- and you got an ERROR message saying "We tried to process the payment for your new membership with the current membership payment method on file, but it failed." See below
Updating your membership payment method
1. Simply click the box underneath "Membership Billing" and select a new card on file
2. Then select the membership change you attempted previously to see if the payment processes successfully with the new payment method selected.
Adding a new valid payment method
1. If you don't have a valid payment method already on file that you can or want to use, you need to add a new payment method on file. Just click the "+ Add New Payment Method" button
2. It will take you to this page where you can add the new payment method
3. Then you can return to the "Membership" page where you started and select the membership change you attempted previously to see if the payment processes successfully with the new payment method selected.
