How are royalties split?

Author royalties for every resource start at 50/50 (DYM/author). But, there are a few things that can impact your royalty amounts:

• After 45 minutes of total editing (both graphics and content), it will move from 50/50 to 60/40. 
• Royalties are up to 50% when cash is used, 25% when store credit is used (minus minimal credit card fees). 

If you've written a resource with another youth worker, you can split the royalties however you'd like (by default it will be 50/25/25) by adding your co-author when you submit the resource in the Pipeline. Once we have that split in the system (and each author's paperwork on file) we will take care of splitting and paying each person's portion of the royalties.
