It’s no secret DYM is passionate about helping youth workers, and one of the best ways we do that is by offering high-quality resources from incredibly talented people like you. DYM Authors have stepped up their game over the last few years and the bar for great resource submissions just keeps getting higher. This is a win/win/win!

Looking to have your game published—and stand-out—in the DYM Store? 

Let's do a case-study on a game that went wild:

• A Facebook event to "Storm Area 51" goes viral. (What a time to be alive.)
• DYM Youth Workers make games about it that are published on the DYM website, catching this pop culture wave.
• A couple are fun trivia screen games, and one called "Area 51: Free the Aliens" is an interactive, all-play game that has groups of students compete over trivia and physical challenges to solve a mission.
• The DYM Community goes nuts over the interactive, all-play game. Other DYM youth workers riff off the original resource and create entire theme nights with alien party supplies, make bumper videos, and have a ridiculous amount of fun kicking off the new school year with their students in a culturally relevant, creative way! In the numbers, this game out-sold the other two by 4x and 10x. 😳

So what's the point?

1) Hitting on a great theme is strong, but gameplay will take it to another level. 

2) Games that are interactive, get everyone involved, and even help students get to know one another are highly sought-after games for the DYM Community. Everyone loves to laugh, and end-users value something they can easily implement that feels relevant to the season, culture, or their message.

3) These key features of highly valued games help our team assess which submissions to accept and ultimately publish through our resource Pipeline.
