Here are some tips and tricks with Title Graphics in the Sidekick app.
Every game in Sidekick has a Title Graphic associated with it. They're used as the thumbnail in the Library screen and the "bail graphic" if you need to cover the entire screen to hide what's going on behind-the scenes.
If you find yourself playing a game in Sidekick and it looks like it's not working, make sure that the title graphic isn't covering up game play. You can do this in two places:
- A little orange bar will only show up above the Editor Play screen when the title graphic is live.
- There is a toggle switch called "Title Graphic" in the Play screen.
When you create a new game, Title Graphics are automatically generated.
If you want to replace that Title Graphic with any image on your computer, go to the Title Graphic section in the Edit screen.
Finally, Sidekick remembers whether or not the Title Graphic was on the last time you were in that game, so you can "start" a game with the Title Graphic turned on.
